Christian Wilkins has faced some major hurdles when it comes to his Hollywood career.

The son of Richard Wilkins had his dreams of becoming an actor postponed indefinitely when his arrival in Tinseltown coincided with the SAG-AFTRA strike.

But Christian, 28, isn’t coming back home to Australia just yet because he’s been busy volunteering for charities helping actors on strike.

Over the weekend, the Dancing with the Stars alum shared a story to his Instagram which showed him speaking to reporters in front of a food bank organised by Food For Health AHF.

‘Volunteering with Food For Health AHF to help those affected by the #SAG strike. Such an awesome organisation,’ he wrote in a caption to his story.
