LONDON, Nov 29 (Reuters) – The European Union should consider scrapping a cap on banker bonuses to remain competitive with other financial centres, Deutsche Bank CEO Christian Sewing said on Wednesday.
Sewing told a Financial Times event in London that the bloc should take account of other jurisdictions that are ditching similar caps – including Britain – and consider replicating the reform, providing it did not revive a culture of excessive risk taking.
