Australian ‘nepo baby’ Christian Wilkins revealed on The Project that he hasn’t yet given up on his acting dreams.

Host Waleed Aly said he was ‘fascinated’ by the 28-year-old’s bad luck at moving to Hollywood just as the writers’ strike kicked off earlier this year.

Responding sarcastically, the son of Australian entertainment reporter Richard Wilkins reflected that it was ‘choice timing.’

He then laughed about how the strike ended as soon as he returned home to Australia.

‘I landed here last week and the writers strike’s over,’ Wilkins said jokingly, to which the hosts and studio audience laughed.
