Cecilia Miera, age 95, died on Saturday, September 16, 2023, in Clayton, New Mexico.
Rosary will be recited at 9:30 AM on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton, New Mexico followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM celebrated by Fr. Joseph Baltz. Burial will follow in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.
Cecilia (Ulibarri) Miera was born on October 8, 1927, in Wagon Mound, New Mexico to Albino Ulibarri and Gregorita “Georgie” (Esquivel) Ulibarri. She was raised by Aunt Matilda Roy after her mother died when she was born. Cecilia married Joe Nestor Miera on July 5, 1947, in Roy, New Mexico and he preceded her in death on November 3, 1987.
