Defense Still Looking At Financial Records In Oak Grove Murder Case

To provide ample time for the defense attorney to review her client’s financial records, another pretrial conference has been scheduled for a woman charged in the 2022 death of an Oak Grove man.

Ann Harrison and her defense attorney, Stephanie Ritchie-Mize, along with Commonwealth’s Attorney Stephanie Bolen appeared for a pretrial conference before Judge Andrew Self in Christian Circuit Court Wednesday afternoon.

Harrison is charged with murder, first-degree criminal abuse, and several other charges in connection to the death of Anthony Gilstrap, Sr. The charges are in connection to an Oak Grove Police investigation that began when Gilstrap was taken to the hospital on July 10, 2022, and was reportedly unresponsive with signs of severe neglect, gangrene, sepsis, an open wound with bones exposed, and pressure ulcers. He died a month later.
