Christian County Schools Receives Grant To Strengthen Student Well-Being

Christian County Public Schools recently received $738,040 through the Stronger Connections Grant Program, part of the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act.

This grant will allow the district to implement an anti-drug and bullying curriculum and provide additional mental health resources for students. Christian County Schools is one of 28 districts in the state to receive this grant, and they plan to use the funds to purchase violence and drug prevention programs, as well as social-emotional learning curriculum and professional development for school trauma teams.

The district may also be eligible for additional funding in the future.
