The Christian County Grand Jury returned a litany of indictments last week featuring charges of rape and incest, bribery of a public servant, among others.
Oak Grove resident, 50-year-old Rafe Kuzins, was indicted on charges of second-degree rape (mentally incapacitated), incest, first-degree sodomy, first-degree criminal abuse, and fourth-degree assault. The charges stem from August 1-7, 2023, when Kuzins allegedly engaged in sexual intercourse with his biological daughter, who was mentally incapacitated. He is also said to have placed her in a situation that may have caused serious injuries and striking the daughter which caused her to have scratches and bruises.
The sodomy charge was added at the request of the lead detective during the recent grand jury meeting.
