·      BYU opened the season with a 110-63 victory over Houston Christian on Monday evening, marking their first time scoring 100 points against a NCAA Division I opponent in a season opener since 2000.
·      The Cougars attempted a program record 43 3-pointers in the win over the Huskies. It was also the second-most attempts from 3-point range on the opening day of the season.
·      Spencer Johnson scored a career-high 20 points in the victory, making him the 10th player since 2010 to score 20-plus in a season opener.
