School on air launched with 500 ‘students

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan: The Department of Agriculture in Region 2 (Cagayan Valley) through its High Value Crops Development (HVCD) program has partnered with private companies and local government units (LGUs) in launching the School on the Air (SoA) on lowland vegetable production with around 500 farmer-enrollees.

According to the DA Regional Field Office 2 (DA-RFO2), the private companies who are signatories to the memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the SoA were Allied Botanical Corp., Eastwest Seed Company, Enviro Scope Synergy Corp. and Ramgo International Corp. represented by their area representatives.

The partner LGUs are Aurora town, City of Ilagan, Mallig town, Roxas town and Santiago City, all in Isabela province, represented by either their respective local chief executives or authorized representatives.
