(MURFREESBORO) OK, it’s the Labor Day weekend and that is supposedly the end of summer. So goodbye steamy hot and humid days and hello crisp cool days overflowing with a colorful fall. Murfreesboro Transportaton’s Deputy Director Ram Balachandran warns motorists about construction areas to avoid now through September 9, 2023.

All listings account for and exclude this weekend’s holiday restrictions. There will be no temporary lane closures permitted on interstates or state routes beginning at 12 Noon on Friday, September 1st through 6 a.m. Tuesday, September 5th for the Labor Day holiday travel period.
