The Douglas County Veterans Forum will hold a DC Stand Down Wednesday at the VFW Post #2468 on Northeast Walnut Street in Roseburg.
This is being held for homeless veterans from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and will feature many vendors available to help those in need. That will include staff from the Roseburg VA Medical Center who can assist veterans with information on care that is available. A hot shower and laundry will be provided. For the Love of Paws will have care and shots for dogs available. A lunch will be provided at 11:30 a.m.
