TAIPEI, Taiwan — Douglas Hsu, chairman of the Far Eastern Group, presents the telecommunication firm’s new e-wallet scheme “Far EasTone friDay,” the largest of its kind in Taiwan. The electronic cash payment system is being pushed by 11 affiliated firms as well as nine international consortiums.
