During the International Ice Hockey Federation’s annual congress today, the joint bid submitted by Riga and the Belarus capital Minsk to host the 2021 Ice Hockey World Championships received the greatest number of votes from delegates, LETA/BNS informed.
Running against the Riga/Minsk bid was a bid from Finland.
