Will Hungary continue to provide Schengen visas for Russians?

The Czech Republic, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Slovakia announced that they would not provide humanitarian Schengen visas for Russian nationals, including those fleeing Russia after Putin’s partial mobilisation. Péter Szijjártó, Hungary’s foreign minister, cleared the Hungarian standpoint on the issue to the TASS Russian news agency.

According to 24.hu, Hungary will continue to provide Schengen visas entitling Russian nationals to travel to the member states multiple times. Péter Szijjártó cleared the government’s decision to the TASS news agency in an interview during the General Assembly of the United Nations in New York.
