Between living in the midst of a global pandemic, and the tsunami of anti-LGBTQ+ legislation that just keeps popping up all over these United States it feels like the world is on fire lately. Despite all of that, once-beloved Harry Potter author J. K. Rowling had to continually open her mouth to spew hateful TERF rhetoric. What’s worse is when she was called out on this behavior by not only Twitter but by the actors of the Harry Potter movies who have distanced themselves from her, Rowling has dug her heels in, going so far to pettily delete a tweet supporting author Stephen King when he tweeted in support of trans women.
