The idea of erecting “The Memorial of Joint Conscience” in the city of Diyarbakır in Turkey belongs to the city’s mayor Osman Baydemir. He announced this yet in 2011 and stated that the first place he would visit in Armenia is the Tzitzernakaberd Memorial and “The Yerevan Radio” (Public Radio).
