THE Saint Lucia Amateur Radio Club SLARC has been awarded grant funding from the Government of Canada of Can. $ 25,000.00 for the purchase a VHF repeater system for Saint Lucia. A release from the Club said this repeater system will provide back-up communications to existing systems in the event of a major disaster when all else fails.
