President Muhammadu Buhari has assured Nigerians that his government will ensure that the activities of election riggers are met with the full force of the law.
Buhari stated this in his New Year message on Saturday, adding that the amended electoral act he signed into law was evidence to convince Nigerians of his determination to ensure free, fair and credible elections in the 2023 general elections.
The president who called it his valedictory message said he desired to leave a legacy of free and fair election and progressive democracy for the country.
