The market for Filipino tourists and foreign workers is sizable. According to the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration’s (POEA) data, approximately 2.3 million overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) were deployed in 2019. In 2021, OFW was estimated to be 1.83 million, up from 1.77 million in 2020.
