YEREVAN, March 10. /ARKA/. Team Telecom Armenia will install over 70 charging stations for electric cars this year all over Armenia as part of its Team Energy project, Team Telecom Armenia CEO Hayk Yesayan told a press briefing on the sidelines of the DigiTec 2022 Summit and Expo that kicked off today in Yerevan.
“This year, about 20 fast chargers will be placed in different cities of Armenia, which will charge an electric vehicle in 40 minutes,” he said, adding that more 50 regular 220-volt charging stations will be installed later.
The electric cars will be connected for charging without additional identification: the system will automatically identify the car and switch on the charger, Yesayan said.
“This year’s new solution is TEAM Energy. We are entering the market of electric vehicles and chargers,” he said.
