The 2022 Major League Baseball season is getting one step closer to the World Series with the postseason in full swing.
Four teams remain in contention for the 2022 Commissioner’s Trophy (the official name given to the World Series trophy) with the American League and National League Championship Series happening now.

In the American League (AL), Aaron Judge and the New York Yankees are facing off against the Houston Astros. While the Yankees are always serious post-season contenders, this is the sixth straight ALCS appearance for the Astros.
Over in the National League (NL), the Philadelphia Phillies take to the field against the San Diego Padres. This is the first time the two teams are meeting in the post-season. It’s also the first NLCS appearance for the Phillies since 1998. Check out a full schedule of games here.
