The television mast monopoly Arqiva has pulled out of its Freeview joint venture with the BBC, ITV and Channel 4 in a signal of the accelerating shift towards streaming.
plans to step down in March as a shareholder in Freeview, the main terrestrial broadcasting platform owned by Digital UK.
