Tom Richmond: Cameron’s ‘land of opportunity’ still unlikely to be a land of Tory majority

IT could be worse for David Cameron. At least Whitehall is still functioning – unlike Barack Obama’s administration in the USA where a shameful stand-off between Democrats and Republicans has brought Washington to its knees. Perhaps there is merit to coalition government and its measured approach to deficit reduction.
