David Rudder, in his song “Oil and Music”, dubbed Trinidad and Tobago “The Land of Oil and Music”. Given the crossroads at which the country stands today, Mr Rudder may have to readjust his lyrics to just, “The Land of Music”, as the golden era of oil and natural gas has come to an end.
