State Rep. Guy Vander Linden, R-Mahaska, has introduced House Study Bill 541 to move school board election dates to coincide with city election dates in November. At last week’s Woodbury County supervisors meeting, our Democratic county auditor mentioned it in a very hopeful light, wishing it would pass.
