Presidential candidates Alexander Lukashenko and Nikolai Ulakhovich have announced their election programmes in the country’s most mass printed newspaper SB – Belarus Today. The programmes are already available at sb.by and will appear in print tomorrow.
Alexander Lukashenko’s programme, titled For the Future of Independent Belarus, is based on the success of the already created first independent Belarusian state and declares five strategic objectives: the preservation and development of sovereignty, peace and order and social guarantees, the opportunity for everyone to earn a decent living and Belarus’ entry to the group of the most developed countries. The programme pursues three key goals: employment, export and investments.
