A Perth sheikh has defended a man deported from India after security officers reportedly uncovered strong indications he was an Islamic State supporter. Malay-Australian Ahmad Fahim Bin Hamad Awang was detained at New Delhi’s International Airport after arriving from Perth last week before being deported and is currently believed to be in Malaysia.
