The Government of The Bahamas signed an agreement with the Freeport Harbour Company for the purchase of the Grand Bahama International Airport, as part of the strategy to inject new life into the island during a ceremony on Thursday, April 29, 2021. Prime Minister, the Most Hon. Dr. Hubert A. Minnis brought remarks during the ceremony.
