Marriott International appointed Anthony Capuano as CEO after Arne Sorenson , 62, died of pancreatic cancer last week. Capuano, 55, who was previously group president of Global Development , Design and Operation Services, will also join the company’s board of directors, effective immediately, Marriott said in a statement Tuesday.
