Economy IMF calls on Tunisian authorities to freeze payroll to reduce financial deficit

Tunis, Tunisia (PANA) – The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has urged Tunisia to block the wage bill and subsidy to the energy sector, warning of an increase in the budget deficit to more than 9 per cent of the gross domestic product if the recommended measures were not applied.
