Following an international investigation, the 20-year-old man was arrested by local officers in Aruba, a constituent country of the Kingdom of the Netherlands which is located in the Caribbean.
The charges come after the body of 69-year-old Kimberley McRae was discovered inside her Mount Street unit in January this year.
