The Port of Virginia needs to complete a rail yard expansion at its Norfolk International Terminals, and will receive a federal grant of just over $20 million through the U.S. DOT’s Port Infrastructure Development program to do so. The grant will enable the Port Authority to build two new rail sections, each containing four tracks.
