The UAE on Tuesday announced its candidacy for a two-year term on the UN Security Council in 2022-2023. The announcement was made during the UAE’s statement at the General Debate of the 75th session of the United Nations General Assembly delivered by Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
