New medical laboratory opened at the BIA

A new laboratory to conduct PCR tests and to obtain results was declared open at the Bandaranaike International Airport this morning.

The laboratory will be able to conduct PCR tests on 500 passengers daily. Several equipment that was donated to the Ministry of Health for hospitals was installed at the new laboratory.
