Music festivals responsible for small percentage of drug deaths

Four per cent of MDMA-related deaths in Australia since 2000 occurred at music festivals, according to a new report from the National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre (NDARC). The study, published in the International Journal of Drug policy this month, identifies 392 deaths linked to the drug between 2000 and 2018.
