Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES) Secretary General Ivonne Higuero, who is in the country for the Africa wildlife economy summit has commended Zimbabwe for its conservation programmes and stressed the organisation’s commitment to pursue dialogue in handling some of the contentious issues such as the ban of ivory trade.
