Armenia’s Military Expenditure Increased by 33% in One Year

The Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) has released a new report on world military expenditures. According to the report, Armenia spent $609 million or 33 percent more in 2018 than in 2017. Armenia’s military budget has almost doubled in the span of 2008 to 2018. In 2008, it was roughly $247 million.
