A minke whale caught during the latest research trip is seen at a port in Hachinohe, Aomori Prefecture, Japan on Saturday. The 5.5-meter-long female whale was brought to a survey institute. Japan resumed commercial whaling in the summer after withdrawing from the International Whaling Commission.
