Incoming economic data have revealed signs that U.S. growth “is slowing somewhat” from last year’s strong growth rate, said Fed Vice Chairman Richard Clarida on Thursday. At the same time, inflation pressure “has been muted,” Clarida said, in a speech to the Institute of International Finance.
