Ramsey had been suffering from a thigh injury and has failed to recover in time for Wales’ first qualifying game on Sunday. The 28-year-old has subsequently been withdrawn from the squad and has returned to his club for treatment. Ramsey did not take part in his Wales’ 1-0 friendly win over Trinidad and Tobago on Wednesday.
