Injured Hanyu pulls out of skating Grand Prix finale

Double Olympic champion Yuzuru Hanyu, who has been beset by ankle problems, has withdrawn from the Grand Prix Final in Vancouver, the International Skating Union announced on Thursday.

Yuzuru Hanyu. The 23-year-old Japanese won the Grand Prix events in Helsinki and Moscow in November to secure one of the six places in the final.
