New Criminal Codes Act curtails freedom of expression and press: IFJ

Aug 21, 2018-The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) has said that the country’s new Criminal Codes Act 2018 curtails freedom of expression and the press. Issuing a press statement on Tuesday, the IFJ has expressed serious concerns over some restrictive provisions and demanded immediate amendments in the Act.
