Several remain in prison; some have been convicted and released under judicial control, pending appeal. Others are under house arrest or travel bans, unable to leave the country. Separately, another court on Wednesday ordered the release of the chairman of Amnesty International in Turkey, after he spent 14 months in jail on terrorism charges.
