*State Sens. Butch Miller (R-Gainesville) and Steve Gooch (R-Dahlonega) have been appointed to a legislative committee that will study ways to strengthen Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and its economic contributions to Georgia. The appointments were made by Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle, the Georgia Senate’s presiding officer.
