U.S. Tariffs Halve Korean Exports of Washing Machines

Punitive tariffs have nearly halved Korea’s exports of washing machines to the U.S. According to the Korea International Trade Association on Sunday, Korea’s exports of washing machines to the U.S. were worth US$29.84 million in the first quarter of this year, down 45.4 percent from $54.63 million (US$1=W1,070).
