The UN climate chief is urging countries to adopt an ambitious initial strategy to curb shipping emissions at the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) this week. “We are witnessing how climate change is moving much faster than emissions reductions,” said Patricia Espinosa before the IMO plenary met in London on Monday.
