4 July, 2002. An Egyptian national, Hesham Muhammad Hadayet, a permanent resident of the US, killed two people and wounded four at a ticket counter in Los Angeles International Airport. He also died during the attack. Investigators said it was an act of terror, but Hesham was acting alone. 1 June, 2009.
