At least four civilians were killed when a mortar shell fired from Gaza struck southern Israel on Monday, Israeli media reported. According to reports on public radio and Channel 10 television, the four were killed when a mortar shell hit the Eshkol regional council which flanks Gaza’s southern border with Israel.
