Jarosław Kaczyński, the leader of the ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party, said in an interview with the Polish public radio that postponing the presidential elections would be “a violation of the constitution.” The presidential election is scheduled to take place on May 10, and the possible runoff would take place a fortnight later.
