Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat has filed a 150,000-shekel libel suit against the Israel Public Broadcasting Corporation following the broadcasting of a report claiming that Barkat’s support of Moshe Leon in the second round of the mayoral elections was conditional on support from the local Likud branch for Barkat in the Likud primaries.
